Plan & Adjust is a browser-based productivity tool designed to assist Australian educators in drafting NCCD learning plan documentation and adjustment evidence comments. It is intended to reduce administrative burden by generating suggested, structured language for common adjustment types.

Plan & Adjust is an independent product. It is not an official NCCD resource, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA), the Department of Education, or any state or territory government body.

Review All Generated Content

All notes, comments, and learning plan text generated by this tool are suggested drafts only. They are based on general adjustment language and are not automatically tailored to the individual circumstances, needs, diagnosis, or profile of any specific student.

Users must review, edit, and verify all generated content before using it in any formal documentation, report, or school system. It is your professional responsibility to ensure that any note or comment accurately reflects what occurred and is appropriate for the learner.

Important This tool assists with drafting — it does not replace the professional judgement of the teacher, learning support staff, or SENCO. Always vet generated notes against your own knowledge of the student.

Nothing generated or displayed by this tool constitutes medical, therapeutic, psychological, clinical, or legal advice. The adjustment language provided is educational in nature and is not a substitute for advice from qualified health, allied health, or legal professionals.

NCCD Compliance

This tool is designed to support NCCD documentation practices consistent with the guidelines published by ACARA. However, it does not guarantee compliance with the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD), the Disability Standards for Education 2005, or any other legislative or regulatory requirement.

Schools and individual educators remain solely responsible for ensuring their documentation meets all applicable obligations. Requirements may vary by state, territory, system, or school policy, and it is your responsibility to verify that documentation meets those requirements.

Data & Privacy

All data entered into Plan & Adjust — including teacher names, student names, class lists, barriers, adjustments, and saved plans — is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage on your own device. No data is transmitted to, processed by, or stored on any external server.

Simon Dass / Plan & Adjust does not collect, access, view, or retain any student-related or personally identifiable information. You are responsible for managing and safeguarding data on your own device in accordance with your school's privacy and data-handling policies.

Your data never leaves your device Clearing your browser's local storage will permanently delete all saved plans and class lists. There is no cloud backup.

Accuracy of Adjustment Language

The adjustment strategies, barrier descriptions, and comment language included in this tool are drawn from commonly used, evidence-informed educational practices. They are provided as a starting point and may not reflect the most current research, your school system's preferred terminology, or the specific needs of every learner.

Users should apply their own professional knowledge and consult relevant curriculum and support frameworks when selecting and editing adjustment language.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Australian law, Simon Dass (ABN 75 912 846 305) accepts no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from:

  • The use of, or reliance on, any notes or content generated by this tool;
  • Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the generated content;
  • Any failure to meet NCCD or other compliance obligations;
  • Loss of data stored in browser local storage;
  • Interruption, unavailability, or discontinuation of the tool.
